What it advertises

Its 5 January 2026 ad lists fitting lights, LED strips, chandeliers, fans and aircond; installing and troubleshooting DBs; extra and custom wiring; extra sockets; and circuit troubleshooting. A longer list from 25 April covers homes, offices and shops:

  • points for fans, lights, sockets, aircond and water heaters
  • wiring a whole house
  • changing or installing main and sub DBs, and control panels
  • changing MCBs, RCCBs and main switches
  • trips, short circuits and other faults
  • fitting fans, fluorescent, LED, down- and spotlights, doorbells and water pumps

A flyer it posted 17 times from 1 April to 8 July adds troubleshooting trips on single- and three-phase supply, wiring inspections and single-line diagrams, for homes, shops, offices, halls, schools and surau. In June and July its posts offered a free check from photos you send (hot sockets, DB trips, shocks, a burning smell), and extra socket points to replace extension leads.

Its ads name all of KL and Selangor, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya; its flyers add Negeri Sembilan.

Some of its designed flyers carry other names alongside its number and Facebook page: Excel Electrical Services on 12 June 2026, Pakarkilat Elektrik on 11 June and a BDN Engineering logo in January. They look like reused flyer templates. Ask which business you’re dealing with.

Prices

A 10 July 2026 flyer offers to run a new socket point to where you need it from RM80, done the same day. Advertised 13A socket points in our house wiring prices guide mostly run RM100–200, and the guide notes that “from” prices are often for the easiest case or labour only. Ask what’s included, such as the cable length, casing and socket. Its January flyer says the price is negotiable; its other ads give no prices.

Photos it posted as its work

Some of its posts carry phone photos of jobs, often in before-and-after pairs. A 9 June 2026 post shows an extra socket on a premises wall, fed by a white conduit from an existing socket (pictured; we blurred a notice on the wall). Others show ceiling fans and fluorescent fittings replaced, and sockets and switches being changed. Its later flyers are designed graphics with stock-style images. We haven’t seen these jobs.

Register check

011-2557 3676 is listed in Suruhanjaya Tenaga’s public register of competent persons for a chargeman (Penjaga Jentera) grade A0, for low-voltage systems, valid to 27 February 2027 (snapshot of 6 October 2026). We found no wireman (PW) listing for its numbers. Neither number, nor the names BDN Elektrikal, Khidmat Elektrik KL or Excel Electrical Services, is on ST’s register of electrical contractors. Its June 2026 flyers call its electricians “qualified” and one says “licensed” with ST and CIDB badges; these are its own statements. We also found none of its numbers or names in the part of CIDB’s contractor register we had collected by 13 October 2026 (about two-thirds of it); that doesn’t prove it isn’t registered. Home wiring is tested and signed off by a registered wireman working for a registered contractor, so ask who will do that.
