Chop Hup Seng is a hardware and electrical shop on Jalan Sultanah Zainab in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Large Panasonic billboards run across its double shopfront. Photos of the shop show shelves of fans, appliances and electrical stock.

Maxguard lists it as a dealer. Maxguard’s dealer list names Chop Hup Seng at 3991-F & L, Jalan Sultanah Zainab. It is the only Kelantan entry on the list. The listing shows that the shop is in Maxguard’s network, not which Maxguard references it stocks. The Maxguard brand page covers the range.

Philips lists it as well. Philips Lighting Malaysia’s where-to-buy list names Chop Hup Seng at 3991L, Jalan Sultanah Zainab, with 012-908 0801, as a retail store for Philips lighting.

The shop also sells:

• Fans and appliances. The shopfront is branded Panasonic. On the Lapasar Mall B2B marketplace, the shop lists KDK ceiling and wall fans.
• Other brands’ dealer lists. According to search snippets, the dealer lists of Milux (home appliances), DongCheng (power tools) and GL Bosun (diamond cutting tools) also name Chop Hup Seng. The Milux and DongCheng entries give Jalan Sultanah Zainab addresses.

Maxguard’s list gives 09-748 4480 and [email protected]. Google Maps lists 09-741 8227. We haven’t checked which number reaches the counter faster, so try both.

We found no website or Facebook page. Lapasar Mall is the only online listing we found, and it shows KDK fans rather than electrical protection.

Visiting

Google Maps gives the hours as 9am–7pm every day except Friday, when the shop opens 10am–2:30pm. Call first if you need a particular Maxguard breaker or RCCB.

The unit number differs between sources. Maxguard gives 3991-F & L, other dealer lists give 3991-F or 3991-L, and Google Maps gives 3991-7. All of them put the shop on Jalan Sultanah Zainab. The map pin on this page comes from the Google Maps listing.
