Its current ad, posted from 7 May to 9 October 2026, offers:

A longer ad, posted on 5 February and again on 12 August 2026, spells out the electrical work for homes, shops and offices:

  • Installation: water heaters, doorbells, sockets, switches, DB boxes for single- and three-phase supply, and all kinds of fans and lights.
  • Faults and maintenance: troubleshooting wiring and blackouts on single- and three-phase supply, electrical checking, servicing DBs, changing or moving DBs and MCBs, and replacing old wooden DB boxes.
  • Wiring: whole premises, rewiring old wiring, light and fan points in 1.5mm² cable, 13A socket points in 2.5mm² cable, and points for aircond, autogates and water heaters. Concealed, surface (PVC casing) or conduit wiring.

A 20 May 2026 ad leads with CCTV and gives a shorter version of the same list. Its website also lists TNB meter applications for new single- and three-phase supply, upgrades, temporary and underground meters, and changing the name on a meter.

Prices

Its February 2026 ad offered to fit lights from RM30. The ad doesn’t say whether the light itself is included. If that is labour only, it is in line with the RM25–35 to fit a light, with the owner supplying it, that Malaysian electricians’ price lists show in our house wiring prices guide; “from” prices are often for the easiest case. The August repost of the same ad dropped the price, and its other ads give none. For new points, a DB change or rewiring, ask for a quote and compare it with that guide and upgrading a DB box. A 2020 Instagram post offered free wiring quotes.

The office

Its website gives an address at No 76-2 Jalan Setia Utama AS U13/AS, Setia Alam, 40170 Shah Alam, and, on its contact page, hours of Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm (its home page gives slightly different hours). Its group ads give no address. A Google Maps listing named “Elektrik Wireman” carries its sales line, 011-5683 3121, at a different Setia Alam address (69-2 Jalan Setia Gemilang BG U13/BG), with no reviews (18 October 2026), so message before visiting. The website says the company was founded in June 2016. It also says it is registered with SSM, CIDB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and TNB, and gives the SSM number 201603195702 (UT0016778-A). We checked the Suruhanjaya Tenaga listing (below) but not CIDB.

Photos it has posted

Its ads carry designed flyers of uniformed staff at work: servicing a DB, fitting lights, fans, sockets, CCTV and doorbells, wiring a water heater, an autogate and troubleshooting a three-phase DB. The 13 August 2026 ad includes one of two open distribution boards, full of MCBs and wiring, under the caption “Troubleshooting DB 3 Phase”; the photo on this page is cropped to the boards. These are promotional photos, and we can’t tell which jobs or places they show.

Its main number, 017-682 4232, is listed in ST’s register of competent persons for a PW2 wireman (valid to 27 January 2028), recorded under Makwe Engineering’s registration number UT0016778A. PW2 is the single-phase wiring grade; for three-phase work, ask who holds the higher grade. Its sales line, 011-5683 3121, isn’t in the registers. The register shows the company’s registration, not the quality of any job. Ask which registered wireman will test and sign off your job.

How active it is

We found 69 posts with 017-682 4232 on 47 different days between 5 February and 9 October 2026. Sixty-eight were in Pendawai Elektrik, from 7 May, which we collected continuously up to about 10 October 2026. One was in a Cheras residents’ group. They are three ad texts, posted by several accounts that run its ads. Its posting picked up from August: 31 posts on 18 days in September and 10 posts on 6 days in the first nine days of October. Its flyers have printed 011-5683 3121 since at least May, and since 13 August the text of its group ads gives both numbers. Its Instagram account has posts with 017-682 4232 going back to July 2020. We found no recommendations from other members in the posts we collected. Last seen advertising: 9 October 2026, in Pendawai Elektrik.
