What it supplies

Listed by the brand: Philips names Sinsoonta Electrical Sdn Bhd at No. 15 Jalan SB Indah 1/2A on its Malaysian where-to-buy list (retail stores, list captured 8 October 2026). The listing supports the relationship, not stock of every Philips product.

Signs on the building: above the Philips signboard are a Gree air-conditioner sign (“Penyaman Udara”) giving the shop’s landlines 03-8944 2778/9, a T&J “Global Wiring Device Specialist” sign and a Schneider Electric sign. All three carry the company’s name and registration number; the T&J and Schneider signs read “Dimiliki oleh Sinsoonta Electrical Sdn. Bhd.” (owned by). Schneider’s partner list doesn’t name the shop, and neither do the Hager, Maxguard, CHINT, NSB, MAVA or YETPlus lists we checked, so the Schneider sign is the shop’s own advertising.

What photos show: customer photos, undated, show a HKW Wire & Cable sample board of PVC-insulated aluminium cable from 6 to 70 mm², UNI-T insulation-resistance testers and digital RCD (ELCB) testers, DLX infrared motion sensors and lamps on test holders (pictured above). At the shopfront there are a Philips downlight display, a Legrand display, a Gree air-conditioner carton, and K-Flex cartons and black pipe insulation of the kind used on air-conditioner piping. Otali, an LED lighting brand, names Soonta Electrical Trading at this address on its distributor locator.

What customers describe: a March 2026 reviewer bought a Deka water heater on promotion and says the staff also helped find a contractor for same-day installation at a reasonable price. A reviewer on the Soonta Electrical Trading listing wrote in December 2023 that they had come here for wiring and air-conditioner parts for 20 years. We saw no breakers or distribution boards in the photos; call to ask what is at the counter.

The Sinsoonta shops

Sinsoonta Electrical Supply Sdn Bhd, about 30 m away at No. 27, is a fan, decorative lighting and water-heater showroom with a large ceiling-fan display: see Sinsoonta Electrical Supply. We found no company registration under the Supply name, so we can’t say whether it is this company’s second shop or a separate company. The Facebook page “Sinsoonta Electrical” (facebook.com/sinsoonta) shows the No. 27 showroom and its WhatsApp number.

The older business, Soon Ta Electrical Trading, was registered in 2004 for air-conditioning and electrical materials and works. Its Google Maps listing at No. 15 carries 03-8944 2778, the line on Sinsoonta’s own Gree sign. We treat both names as one shop; whether Soon Ta still trades as a separate business is unconfirmed.

Sin Mee Electrical & Trading, a separate shop, is next door at Nos. 17 and 19 according to its Google Maps listing.
