Products and business
Hardware and building-materials shop run by The Contractor's Store Sdn. Bhd. (Masai), one of the company's three branches in the Johor Bahru area. Owner photos on its Google Maps listing show a wide two-storey yellow shop signed "Contractor's Store" under Nippon Paint, Smart Paints and Dulux boards, with a counter and aisles marked by zone (machinery, contractor tools, hand tools, lock and furniture), buckets of paint and building chemicals, and toilets and sanitary ware. A visitor photo on the same listing shows a narrower single-unit front with Nippon, Smart, Dulux, Kansai, NPI and Sika boards, which may be a second frontage or the Jalan Besar address. Two dispensing racks of wire reels (green, black and white cable) stand at the counter and entrance. The group's online catalogue (contractorstore.com.my, product pages marked as launching soon on 9 October 2026) has an "Electronics & Electrical" category with 234 of its 2,333 items: switches and switched socket outlets, metal-clad switches, dimmers, fan controllers, USB and data outlets, trailing sockets and adaptors, cable reels, plug tops, timers, MCBs and RCCBs, flexible and TRS cables, LED and fluorescent lamps, emergency lights and exhaust fans. That is a group catalogue, not this branch's stock; electrical goods are around a tenth of it.

What it sells

Most of the range is paint and general hardware. Owner photos on its Google Maps listing show a wide two-storey yellow shop under Nippon Paint, Smart Paints and Dulux boards. A visitor photo on the same listing shows a narrower single-unit front with Kansai, NPI and Sika boards as well, which may be a second frontage or the Jalan Besar address. Inside, the aisles are marked by zone: machinery, contractor tools, hand tools, and locks and furniture. Other photos show paint and building chemicals, and toilets and other sanitary ware.

Two rolling racks of wire reels, in green, black and white, stand at the counter and the entrance. The photos are undated and show what was in the shop when they were taken, not current stock. They show no electrical brand signage.

The group’s online catalogue was marked “launching soon” on 9 October 2026. It has an “Electronics & Electrical” category with 234 of its 2,333 items, covering:

  • switches, switched socket outlets and metal-clad switches
  • dimmers and fan controllers
  • USB, TV and data outlets
  • trailing sockets, adaptors and cable reels
  • plug tops and timers
  • miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) and residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs)
  • flexible and TRS cable
  • LED and fluorescent lamps, emergency lights and exhaust fans

This catalogue covers the whole group, not this branch’s stock. Electrical goods are about a tenth of it. No brand dealer list we hold names this branch. Philips Lighting Malaysia’s where-to-buy list names the group’s head office company, Major Harvest Sdn. Bhd., at its Ulu Tiram address; that listing does not cover this branch.

Contact and visiting
