It was incorporated in February 1970, and its company objects are to act as an electrical merchant and deal in electrical goods. Its fascia reads Kedai Peralatan Elektrik (electrical equipment shop). It earlier traded from a shop on Jalan Yew in Pudu, and its Google Maps listing seems to have moved with it.

Products and business

The current fascia (undated photo by the company) reads 'Kedai Peralatan Elektrik' (electrical equipment shop) with a BSLight logo ('Provide the better lighting solution'), pictures of LED street lights, floodlights, panel lights and high-bay lamps, the company name, its Chinese name 勝利電器有限公司, its number 197001000097 (9361-P) and two phones. Its company objects (CTOS) are to act as an electrical merchant and deal in electrical goods. The earlier Pudu shop's sign (May 2017 photo by a Google Maps contributor) said it sold electrical goods, and its lower strip read '… and Exporter of Electrical Goods and Domestic Appliances, Lightings & Projector Bulbs' (the first word is hidden); a Schneider Electric sign hung below it. A business directory lists it under special holders and all kinds of special lamps, heating elements and fittings. We haven't seen inside the Pandan Indah premises.

Brands

Listed by the brand: Philips (Philips Lighting Malaysia where-to-buy list, retail stores, at the earlier Jalan Yew address). Signboard: BSLight (current); the Pudu shop had a Schneider Electric sign in 2017. Not on the Schneider, Hager, Maxguard or CHINT lists we hold.

Company

Victory Electric Co. Sdn. Bhd., 197001000097 (9361-P), incorporated 19 February 1970 (CTOS); the number is printed on both the current and the earlier signboards.

Reviews

4.1 from 8 Google reviews (18 October 2026), none newer than February 2021. A 2016 review praises a knowledgeable salesman but notes little parking, and probably dates from the Pudu shop; a 2021 review praises attentive service.

What it supplies

Listed by the brand: Philips names Victory Electric Co. Sdn. Bhd. on its Malaysian where-to-buy list (retail stores, list captured 8 October 2026), but at the Pudu address, No. 24 Jalan Yew, with the Pudu landline 03-9221 9300. The company number on both shops’ signs is the same. The listing supports the relationship, not stock of every Philips product.

Signboard: the company’s own undated photo of its fascia, pictured above, shows a BSLight logo (“Provide the better lighting solution”) with pictures of LED street lights, floodlights, panel lights and high-bay lamps. BSLight is an LED lighting brand whose logo appears on several Klang Valley shops’ signs. We haven’t seen inside the Pandan Indah premises, so we can’t say what is on its shelves. None of the Schneider, Hager, Maxguard or CHINT dealer lists we hold names the company.

The Pudu shop: a Google Maps contributor’s May 2017 photo of the Jalan Yew shop shows a signboard that says it sold electrical goods. Its lower strip reads ”… and Exporter of Electrical Goods and Domestic Appliances, Lightings & Projector Bulbs” (the first word is hidden), and a Schneider Electric sign hung below it. A business directory lists Victory under special holders and all kinds of special lamps, heating elements and fittings. We found no current Google Maps listing at 24 Jalan Yew, so we can’t confirm whether Victory still trades there.

Contact and visiting

Call 017-806 8014, the number on Google Maps and the fascia, or the landline 03-4297 3667 on the fascia. The Pudu shop’s line, 03-9221 9300 (fax 03-9221 7245), is still on Philips’ list and in directories, but may no longer reach the company. We found no website, Facebook page or marketplace shop.

Google Maps gives Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:15pm and Saturday 8:30am to 1:15pm, closed Sunday. Call first to ask whether it sells over the counter.
