A 2024 Google review calls it the cheapest place in Johor for cable and says "Mega Cable" is sold loose there, recommending it for project suppliers.

The reviewer wrote that “Mega Cable” (likely Mega Kabel) is sold loose there, meaning cut to length, and recommended the shop for project suppliers. A 2021 review calls it the most complete electrical supplier, with friendly service at reasonable prices. These are customers’ opinions, not prices we’ve checked.

Visitors’ photos show the Tonn Cable drum mentioned above, boxes from the LED brands Fonemax, Nesux, ProSMK and Lumelink, and a Fotok conduit-fittings display board. Apart from Philips, the brands here are what the photos show, not confirmed current stock.

Google Maps files the shop under “electrician”, but we found nothing showing that it does wiring work. Treat it as a supplier.

Call 012-708 0233, the number on Philips’ list and in business directories. The current Google Maps listing shows no phone number, so if that number doesn’t work, visit the shop. We found no website, online shop or Facebook page that we could tie to this shop.

Google Maps lists it as open Monday to Saturday, 8:30am–5:30pm, and closed on Sunday.
