What it supplies

Philips’ where-to-buy list names YW Electrical at this address as a Philips retail store. None of the CHINT, Hager, Maxguard or Schneider dealer lists we hold names it.

Photos on its Google Maps listing, seven of them from one customer and undated, show a well-stocked counter shop:

  • a Schneider Electric display board with AvatarOn C, Affle Plus and Vivace switches, S56 and Kavacha weatherproof sockets, a door chime, an MCB, an RCCB and ESM sockets, next to a Simon E3 switch display
  • shelves of Schneider Vivace switch boxes, Hager cartons, UMS and Mand switches and sockets, and MK and UMS plugs
  • Schneider Digilink Category 6 and 5e UTP network cable in boxes
  • white PVC trunking and orange conduit pipe
  • Philips LED floodlights and bulbs, LED panels and bulbs from FSL, Ecolink, FF Lighting and others, and LED ceiling modules
  • boxed ventilating fans from Panasonic, KDK, Khind and Midea

Yunion Wiring Contractor & Electrical Trading

A photo that the shop’s own Google account posted on the listing shows a “Kedai Elektrik” frontage signed Yunion Wiring Contractor & Electrical Trading 友聯電器貿易. CTOS lists Yunion as a separate business registered in 1990 (AS0120722-V) as a wiring contractor and trader in electrical appliances and equipment. Directory copies give it the number 04-538 3262. YW’s job advert uses the same Chinese name, 友联电器, and it was also posted in a Facebook group named “Yunion wiring group”, so the company probably continues the Yunion business. We couldn’t confirm where the Yunion photo was taken.
