EMAX Power Sdn Bhd: Schneider Electric Switchgear Supplier in Sungai Buloh

EMAX Power Sdn Bhd supplies Schneider Electric switchgear and low-voltage power distribution equipment from the Kg Jaya Industrial Area of Sungai Buloh, Selangor. It holds an authorised Schneider Electric distributor account and describes itself as one of Malaysia’s larger core wholesalers of Schneider products. If you’re putting together a switchboard or a commercial distribution board, this is the kind of supplier that carries the breakers, contactors and accessories that go around them.

Its catalogue is built around Schneider’s power distribution families, and it advertises nationwide delivery for orders placed by phone or email.

What they supply

The company’s product page groups its range under low-voltage power protection and control devices. Concrete families listed there include EasyPact MCCB (moulded-case circuit breakers, the larger breakers used on sub-mains and outgoing feeds), EasyPact MVS and Masterpact NW/NT air circuit breakers for main incomers on bigger boards, contactors with motor circuit breakers and control relays for motor and panel work, plus earth-fault and monitoring relays and power-factor controllers with harmonic filtering.

That’s heavier switchgear than a household board. If you’re after final-circuit MCBs or RCCBs for domestic work, check before assuming — the catalogue shown covers the bigger LV equipment, and the website is the place to look first. Its own tagline positions it as a “premier Malaysia stockist for switchgear, MCCB”.

Maxguard Switchgear also lists EMAX Power as one of its dealers, so the Malaysian brand is an alternative to compare alongside the main Schneider line.

Where it sits in the trade

EMAX Power is a subsidiary of the Oon Brothers Group, whose Oon Brothers Electrical Trading Co. Sdn. Bhd. has been in electrical and industrial supply in Malaysia for over forty years. Oon Brothers Electrical Trading appears separately on Schneider’s distributor locator at the same Lot 28242 address and the same phone number, so the two names are connected companies at one site, not two independent options in Sungai Buloh.

There’s also EMAX Control Sdn Bhd, which gives this lot and number as its head office but sells Schneider industrial automation (drives, servos, PLCs) from an office off Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur (017-284 2866). Maxguard’s dealer row named “Emax Power” carries Emax Control’s Jalan Klang Lama address and email with the shared 03-6145 3333 number, so either company may answer a Maxguard enquiry.

Visiting and contacting

The premises are at Lot 28242, Kg Jaya Industrial Area, 47000 Sungai Buloh, off Jalan Kuala Selangor north of Sungai Buloh town. Google Maps classifies the listing as an electronics wholesaler, and Schneider’s locator pins the account a short distance away in the same industrial area — so follow the company’s address rather than either pin if you’re driving.

The company’s website lists opening hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, and the Google Maps listing shows the same weekday window with weekends closed. The locator doesn’t publish hours for this account, so treat both as schedules rather than a guarantee of counter service and call ahead on 03-6145 3333 if you want to check that someone can attend to your enquiry. Enquiries also go to [email protected], and the website has a product catalogue and datasheet section worth checking for exact Schneider order codes before you call.
