Fuji SMBE Brighten Sdn Bhd is the Kulai company of the Fuji SMBE group, a switchgear maker whose head office is in Singapore. It sits in the Indahpura industrial area, in a building with SMBE and Fuji Electric logos; the gate wall still carries the name Brighten Switchboard Builders (M) Sdn Bhd, apparently the company’s earlier name. A review quoted on a business directory describes the plant as assembling low-voltage electrical components and wiring panels, and the company’s Facebook page calls it an “award winning switchgear provider”. This is a factory supplying projects, not a counter shop.

The site doesn’t say which of these lines the Kulai plant builds.

Schneider Electric Malaysia’s all-authorised-partners locator lists Fuji SMBE Brighten twice, with the same address, phone and email: as a panel builder (partner page) and as a “DIY & retailer” partner (partner page). The panel-builder entry fits what the company is; the DIY & retailer tag is the odd one. We found nothing showing that the company sells Schneider products to walk-in buyers, so treat the listings as a business relationship rather than a place to buy loose parts.
