What it supplies
The company’s website describes it as a supplier and wholesaler of lighting and electrical goods for homes and businesses. Its list runs from power cable, circuit breakers, switches, sockets and plugs to LED downlights, floodlights, high bays and street lanterns, fans, trunking, distribution boards and switchboards, capacitors and meters, fire-alarm products, push buttons and cable ties. The website doesn’t say which of these the Pudu branch keeps, and Google Maps lists the branch as an electrical products wholesaler with no photos of the premises.
Brands. The website says the company sources from Asahi, T&G, Globe, Vinie, Caramay and Mega cable, Philips, Panasonic, KDK, Schneider, MK, Osram, Omron, GE, Kyoritsu, Tungsram and Simon. That is the company’s own claim, not a stock list for this branch. Schneider Electric Malaysia’s partner list and Philips’ where-to-buy list both name GL Electric, but only at the Kepong head office.
Buying online
GL Electric’s online shop has a cart and ringgit prices. On 18 October 2026 it listed 135 items: T&G switches, sockets, running capacitors, test pens and tools; Asahi bells, LED floodlights and lamps; GLS sockets, time switches, a miniature circuit breaker, an RCCB (sold as an ELCB), a contactor and a surge protector; Million PVC cable; Globe fans; Mean Well power supplies; Forest Lighting LED lamps and floodlights; and UNI-T testers and clamp meters. The shop’s WhatsApp button (012-537 6012) and the company’s Facebook page serve the whole company. A product page doesn’t show what the Pudu branch has on hand, so call the branch first.
Contact and visiting
The company’s website lists five hotlines for the Pudu branch: 03-2142 1011 (also the number on Google Maps), 03-2142 1031, 03-2142 1042, 03-2148 0519 and 03-2148 0513. The fax is 03-2148 0881, and the company email is [email protected]. Google Maps gives Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am to 3pm. It’s closed on Sunday. The listing has a single five-star review from December 2025 (“Best Price in Town”).
The company’s website also lists Foong Hing Electrical Sdn Bhd in Kajang as one of its branches. Foong Hing Electrical is a separately incorporated company, so we treat it as a related company rather than a GL branch.
