Since May 2026 it has advertised several times a week in 新山拉电佬介绍群, one of the city’s Chinese-language electrician groups on Facebook. Its ads offer tripping and earth-leakage checks, invite calls for a DB that trips in the middle of the night, and list small home jobs. It advertises no shop and gives two phone numbers.

What it advertises
Its ads, almost unchanged since 27 February 2026, list:
- earth-leakage checks (漏电检查) and DBs that trip (电箱跳电)
- finding circuit faults
- installing lights
- fitting and removing fans
- adding sockets
- installing and replacing water heaters
The ads invite calls for a DB that trips in the middle of the night. Since 18 March 2026 most of them (122 of 139) have also offered a free on-site inspection in the Johor Bahru area (JB区域上门免费检查). They name no area beyond Johor Bahru (新山区). An undated version of its ad in 新山装修好Lobang gives only 016-778 9468 and also lists new wiring (拉新电), fitting earth-leakage protection and replacing switches.

Past work it has posted
About half of its ads carry photos it posted as its work, mostly of DBs and burnt parts:
- a three-row DB with Schneider and EPS breakers, another with Legrand breakers, and voltage-tester checks at a tap and a shower (30 April 2026)
- a Hager RCCB with a melted terminal, held up in front of a board fitted with a Hager device, a Maxguard 63A RCCB and a Maxguard isolator (3 June 2026). It reused this photo in eight later ads up to July, and a close-up of the same RCCB in ads until September.
- a ceiling fan with LED strip lighting, DBs and a water heater (7 September 2026)

Register check
Neither 016-778 9468, 010-762 9468 nor the name KNG Electrical appears in Suruhanjaya Tenaga’s public registers of electrical contractors and competent persons (snapshot of 6 October 2026). That doesn’t prove the person doing the work isn’t registered: registered wiremen and contractors are listed under their own name, company and phone, which can differ from a trade name or the number in an ad. How active it is
We found 139 posts with its numbers on 102 different days between 27 February and 7 October 2026, and 6 replies in request threads from 14 February. From May to September it posted on 18 to 21 days a month, except August (11 days). Almost all were in 新山拉电佬介绍群 and the rest in 新山装修（拉电群）. The first reply, on 14 February 2026, answers someone in Permas asking for an electrician to check a DB. The same ads also appear in 新山装修好Lobang, a group we didn’t collect. Last seen advertising: 7 October 2026, in the group posts we’d collected up to 10 October 2026. We found no posts by other group members recommending it.
