Products and business

A lighting showroom: photos posted by the shop show pendant lamps, chandeliers, ceiling lights, a wall of up-and-down wall lights, ceiling fans and boxed LED downlights (a Ledvance Eco Spot Lite box). The shop's 2010 website listed wall and table lamps, pendant and ceiling lamps, outdoor lamps, eyeball lights, downlights and spotlights, in designs from antique to modern. CTOS gives the business as buying and selling lamps (membeli dan menjual lampu). Reviewers in 2025–26 mention ceiling fans, warranties on lights (one said three years for a new light, another three months for a ceiling light) and staff who explain each item; one 2026 reviewer recommended buying lights and fans here but not the electrician the shop introduced.

Brands

Listed by the brand: Philips (Philips Lighting Malaysia where-to-buy list, retail stores). Also on MAVA's dealer list (ceiling fans; no Locavine brand page). Signs on the frontage: Philips (with the shop's name), Ledvance, Alpha, Deka, MAVA, Homedal and Rezo. Not on the Schneider, Hager, Maxguard, CHINT or YETPlus lists we hold.

Online

Facebook page (3.2K followers; lists the shop's phone, email and the old mikea.com.my website). The mikea.com.my domain no longer resolves; the Wayback Machine holds the 2010 site. A web search found no Shopee, Lazada or Instagram shop (13 October 2026); we didn't check the marketplaces directly.

Reviews

4.2 from 110 Google reviews (13 October 2026). The five newest (January–September 2026) are four 5-star reviews praising service, explanations, range and prices, and one 3-star review (July 2026) that recommends the lights and fans but not the electrician the shop introduced. A December 2025 2-star review says a ceiling light bought in June failed after about six months and its back plate didn't match the old one, while a fan from the shop had worked well for over a year.
