Hours
Open 24 hours, every day (its Google Maps listing, 18 October 2026); its Facebook page also says "Always open".
Services advertised
Its flyer on Google Maps (trading as Shafwan Engineering Enterprise, "Electrician & Plumber") lists rewiring, earthing (pembumian), troubleshooting, RCCBs/ELCBs that keep tripping, current leakage, unusually high electricity bills, three-phase load balancing, wiring inspection, RCBOs for water heaters, surge protection devices (SPD), distribution-board servicing and new wiring. It also offers plumbing: new pipes, leak repairs, taps, tanks and water pumps. Its Facebook posts add house building work (plaster, paint, vinyl flooring). The flyer says all wiring work follows Suruhanjaya Tenaga's specifications and that he does the work himself ("Kerja Buat Sendiri dan Tiada Orang Kedua"); its Facebook page and its second Maps listing call it a "Kontraktor Elektrik". These are its own statements.
Service area
Selangor, Putrajaya, Nilai and nearby areas (its flyer on the Bangi listing); a second version of the flyer, on its Semenyih listing, says Selangor, Wilayah Persekutuan, Negeri Sembilan and nearby areas. Its Facebook page lists Kuala Lumpur, Kajang, Semenyih, Nilai, Putrajaya and Shah Alam. One reviewer says it travelled from Bangi to Senawang Perdana (Negeri Sembilan) to check a solar system's wiring.
Jobs in reviews
A water-heater switch that had melted after a poor installation (July 2026); a main switch at the DB heating up from loose connections, with smoke coming from the board when he arrived, replaced and the other breakers' screws tightened in under an hour, after office hours (review of 2 October 2026); a solar system's wiring checked, faulty parts found and a report given (March 2026); fault-finding with the cause explained (March and May 2026).
Prices in reviews
One reviewer paid RM380 for the inspection and called that expensive but the overall charges reasonable (March 2026). Others call the price reasonable. It doesn't advertise prices.
Photos
Customer photos on its Google Maps listing show a 63A three-pole Maxguard isolator with a scorched pole (posted by the reviewer whose 2 October 2026 review describes the overheating main switch), a scorched 32A isolator beside a 40A 100mA RCCB, and an electrician working at distribution boards and a wall point in customers' homes. Its own uploads are its logo and flyer.
Registers
It describes itself as a "Kontraktor Elektrik", but we found 010-920 1108 and the name Shafwan Engineering in none of Suruhanjaya Tenaga's public registers of electrical contractors and competent persons (snapshot of 6 October 2026), nor in CIDB's contractor register (collected 13 October 2026). That doesn't prove the person doing the work isn't registered: registered wiremen are listed under their own name and phone. For wiring work, ask which registered wireman will test and sign off the job.
