What it supplies
Pansar’s electrical division sells switches and sockets, distribution boards, networking cable and high- and low-voltage cable, lighting, light poles, pumps and water heaters. Pansar’s news pages describe it supplying electrical and lighting dealers and retailers, and its website also targets M&E and building contractors. The product pages on its website are for the whole company, so they don’t show which items this branch keeps on hand.
Schneider Electric. Schneider Electric Malaysia’s electrical distributor list names “PANSAR COMPANY SDN BHD (LAHAD DATU)” with the listing type “Distributor-Electrical and Industrial”. Schneider’s account page for this branch lists electrical protection and control, home systems, and light switches and sockets as specialisations. Pansar’s own website calls the company “the Authorised Distributor for Schneider Electric”, and in 2017 it ran a Schneider product seminar for its Schneider team and dealers. See the Schneider brand page for the ranges. The listing doesn’t confirm stock of any particular item.
Philips. Pansar’s news pages say it signed a partnership with Philips Lighting Malaysia in 2003 for exclusive distribution of Philips lighting in East Malaysia, supplying lighting dealers there. Philips’ own consumer where-to-buy list doesn’t include Pansar, so this rests on Pansar’s own account. See the Philips brand page.
Other brands on the company’s website. The cable page shows Southern Cable and Universal Cable logos. The lighting page calls Pansar the East Malaysia master distributor for Sylvania and also shows Sirijaya (SJ Lite). Pansar says it is the sole East Malaysian distributor for Lysaght galvanised light poles and guardrails. Its water page lists Joven pumps and instant water heaters and Kelen/Ketrix PP-R pipe, its pumps section covers Davey and Grundfos, and its energy page lists Saft batteries. We haven’t checked these brands’ own dealer lists.
