What it supplies

Listed by the brand: Philips names Unijaya Electrical Supply Sdn Bhd at No. 106-G, Jalan 1/2, Bandar Teknologi Kajang on its Malaysian where-to-buy list (retail stores, list captured 8 October 2026). The “Pengedar Sah” (authorised distributor) Philips signboard over the shop matches that listing. The listing supports the relationship, not stock of every Philips product. The phone on Philips’ list, 03-9226 8328, appears nowhere else we looked.

Signboards: besides Philips, the shop has an FSL lighting panel (“Pembekal Alatan Elektrik”, electrical goods supplier). A Schneider Electric lightbox on the pillar beside the entrance appears to carry the company’s name at its foot. A ground-floor sign shows PVC conduit, fittings and trunking under the Megapower name with the Saga, PVC-Link, Wireman, Mega, MP, Cyber and Hero marks, and Legrand switches, sockets and a breaker.

Website: the company describes itself as a full-service electrical supplier that keeps stock for commercial, retail and industrial customers and also does “solution and contracting work”. Its product pages cover:

  • LED lighting from FSL, Nikkon floodlights and high-bays, and WiZ smart lighting;
  • switches and sockets from Legrand (Belanko S), Honeywell MK and Schneider Electric (Kavacha weatherproof, ESM metal clad, S Classic, Vivace and S56 industrial);
  • Maxguard switchgear;
  • fire-resistant, armoured and PVC cable (including Fajar), bare conductor, HDPE pipe, PVC conduit and fittings, and steel trunking, cable tray and ladder;
  • KDK ceiling fans, Joven water heaters and pumps, and Econlite emergency lights and exit signs.

A “Brand Carried” image (from 2020) shows thirty logos, among them Mega Kabel, Tonn Cable, Southern Cable, DNF, Hager, ABB, Omron, Terasaki, Panasonic, Osram, Fluke and Kyoritsu. These are the company’s own claims: of the brand lists we hold, only Philips’ names the shop. Schneider, Hager, Maxguard and CHINT don’t. The website gives no prices, and a product page there isn’t proof of stock.

What photos show: the company’s own Google Maps photos show stacks of KDK K15V0 ceiling fans, KDK KU408 wall fans and Deka DR Baby 5 ceiling fans. A contributor’s photo of the front, pictured above, shows lighting on display upstairs and cartons inside.

The website mentions contracting, but we found no Energy Commission (ST) electrical contractor or CIDB registration under the company’s name or phones.

The Shopee shop had 32 products and 4.9 stars from 212 ratings, but it was marked “On Vacation” that day.

Contact and visiting

A blue notice beside the shop front, in a contributor’s undated photo, reads “Untuk jualan borong dan kontraktor elektrik sahaja” (for wholesale and electrical contractors only). The company also sells online, and reviewers describe buying there, so ask by phone whether it serves walk-in homeowners.

Google Maps gives 012-916 9880, which is also behind the Facebook page’s WhatsApp button. The website gives 012-286 7138 (with a WhatsApp link), the landline 03-8726 9699 and [email protected].

Google Maps gives Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm, Saturday 8:30am to 2:30pm and Sunday closed. The website gives Saturday until 5pm and says the shop opens on alternate Sundays, so check before a Saturday afternoon or Sunday visit.

Google shows 4.6 from 32 reviews (20 October 2026). The newest include a 2-star review from July 2026 about being served out of turn, and a 1-star review in Malay saying WhatsApp and phone replies are slow. Reviews from 2022 praise its prices and its range of brands.
