It advertises in Chinese in the city’s electrician and renovation groups on Facebook. Wiring leads its ads, which have always offered renovation too. From January 2026 they list the renovation trades, and from mid-April 2026 they present it as a one-stop renovation team.

Its ads have offered renovation alongside wiring since December 2025; from January 2026 they list plaster ceilings, aircond installation, painting, iron grilles, awnings and aluminium windows, from April 2026 partitions, glass, cleaning, custom furniture, autogates and CCTV, and from June 2026 masonry (its group posts, December 2025–September 2026).

None. Its ads promise "reasonable" and "transparent" prices with no hidden charges, and a free on-site quote anywhere in Johor Bahru.

Its ads name all of Johor Bahru, listing Mount Austin, Skudai, Molek, Bukit Indah, Taman Gaya, Permas Jaya, Masai, Pasir Gudang, Iskandar and Gelang Patah (1 April 2026).

Claims in its ads

"A second-generation family of electricians" (its Facebook page), more than 20 years' experience, jobs for factories, offices, shops, banks, private hospitals, clinics, apartments and homes, and work with interior design firms (its Instagram profile), an experienced team and "work that meets Malaysian electrical safety standards" (its ads). These are its own statements.

Registers

We found neither 011-1128 8195 nor the name WBC in Suruhanjaya Tenaga's public registers of electrical contractors and competent persons (snapshot of 6 October 2026). That doesn't show the work is unregistered: registered wiremen and contractors often work under another company's name or number. For wiring or DB work, ask which registered wireman or contractor will sign off the job.

Facebook groups

About 400 posts with 011-1128 8195 on 107 different days between 28 December 2025 and 17 September 2026 in three Johor Bahru Facebook groups: 新山装修（拉电群）, 新山拉电佬介绍群 and 新山装修介绍，电工，冷气，家私 (the account that posts its ads is an admin of the last). Mostly the same few ads reposted with job-site photos; a few posts in early July 2026 and one since.

What it advertises

Its first ads in our data, from late December 2025, offer wiring and renovation for new homes, shops and factories by “an experienced electrician team”. Its most detailed post, from 1 April 2026, lists:

• installing lights, fans and sockets
• whole-house wiring and DB installation
• rearranging DBs and setting up distribution boards
• wiring to renovation drawings and commercial electrical drawings, for homes, apartments, shops, shopping malls and factories
• circuit planning, and applying for a three-phase supply (申请大电)

The same post offers to handle a whole renovation: plaster ceilings, partitions, iron grilles, painting, aircond installation, aluminium windows, glass and cleaning. From mid-April 2026 its ads present it as a one-stop renovation team, adding custom furniture, autogates and CCTV. If you only need electrical work, say so when you ask for a quote.

Past work it has posted

Most of its ads carry job-site photos without captions. They show conduit and cable runs in houses under renovation, cable laid in a trench to a meter board, rooms after the ceiling and lights were finished, and machines being wired in a factory (31 January 2026). Some workers in its photos, and the one on its flyer, wear green WBC Electrical Service shirts. We haven’t seen any of these jobs.

Its Facebook page gives 30, Jalan Palma Rafis 1, Taman Dato Chellam, 81800 Ulu Tiram, and a Google Maps listing under its name, categorised as an electrician, gives 30 & 30A at the same address. Its Instagram profile gives only Jalan Tropika, Ulu Tiram. Maps lists daily hours of 9am to 6pm (5pm on Sundays). Its ads don’t describe the premises and the work is done on site, so call before visiting.

Register check

We found neither 011-1128 8195 nor the name WBC in Suruhanjaya Tenaga’s public registers of electrical contractors and competent persons (snapshot of 6 October 2026). That doesn’t show the work is unregistered: registered wiremen and contractors often work under another company’s name or number. In the group posts we’d collected up to 10 October 2026, we found about 400 posts with 011-1128 8195 on 107 different days between 28 December 2025 and 17 September 2026. They’re in three JB groups: 新山装修（拉电群）, 新山拉电佬介绍群 and 新山装修介绍，电工，冷气，家私. The account that posts its ads is an admin of 新山装修介绍，电工，冷气，家私. It also shares posts to groups we didn’t collect. It posted most in January and March 2026, a few times in early July, and only once after that. Last seen advertising: 17 September 2026.

Its Facebook page shows 14 recommendations, all positive, including posts from 2025. We didn’t check who wrote them, and two of the visible ones use near-identical wording. We found no recommendations of it by other members in the group posts we collected.
