What it advertises

Its first ad in our data, on 4 January 2026, offers:

  • DB upgrades with new MCBs and ELCBs
  • house and shop wiring, and upgrading or repairing old wiring
  • extra sockets and lights
  • aircond installation and servicing

From 21 February 2026 its standard ad adds water heater installation, fans, chemical aircond cleaning and repairs for airconds that leak or don’t cool. In April 2026 it also offered new and second-hand airconds and relocating units. Its Facebook page adds water pumps and small building jobs, and says it does the work itself (“kerja sendiri je”). A few of its ads are about airconds only.

Its ads name Johor Bahru and the surrounding area, and hashtags add Kulai and Skudai.

It doesn’t advertise prices. Its ads say “harga berpatutan & telus” (reasonable and transparent prices) and ask you to message for a quote. For benchmarks, see house wiring prices in Malaysia and upgrading a DB box.

Its ads also call it experienced and professional, and promise neat, safe work that follows electrical safety standards. These are its own statements.

A second name

Its 4 October 2026 ad carries a flyer for ZR Energy Cool Services (aircond and electrical services) with the same number, 013-714 7247. The flyer lists wiring, sockets and lights, and DB boxes, MCBs and RCCBs for homes and offices, besides aircond work. It also names a Facebook page, ZR Energy Cool Services, which we couldn’t find on 10 October 2026, and a TikTok account, @aircondpro.johor. The flyer’s photos look like stock or AI images, not its own jobs. We don’t know whether the new name replaces the old one.

Photos in its ads

Few of its ads carry photos of jobs. A February 2026 ad shows a small DB with seven breakers above an older earth-leakage breaker; it doesn’t say whether this is its own job or a board before an upgrade. A 31 July 2026 post, captioned as fitting a new blower-fan part, has photos of a technician working on a wall-mounted aircond. We haven’t seen any of these jobs.

Register check

Neither 013-714 7247, 011-1069 7247 nor the names Zarul Wiring Aircond Services or ZR Energy Cool Services appear in Suruhanjaya Tenaga’s public registers of electrical contractors and competent persons (snapshot of 6 October 2026). That doesn’t prove the person doing the work isn’t registered: registered wiremen and contractors are listed under their own name, company and phone, which can differ from a trade name or the number in an ad. For a DB upgrade or rewiring, ask which registered wireman will test and sign off the job. Our JB electricians guide explains the check.
