Schneider Resi9 MP (Mini Pragma) DB boxes in Malaysia: the 30 enclosures, the 36-module surface limit, Easy9 boxes off the list, and prices
Resi9 MP is Schneider Electric’s plastic modular enclosure for homes in Malaysia. Several product titles still use the older name, “mini Pragma”. It’s a white plastic box with a DIN rail, earth and neutral terminal blocks and either a plain white or a translucent door, in surface and flush versions.
As of 8 October 2026, Schneider Malaysia’s Resi9 MP range lists 30 references: 14 surface-mounted (MIP12…) and 16 flush-mounted (MIP22… and MIP20212). We read every product page.
Schneider Resi9 MP (Mini Pragma) enclosures
Schneider Electric Malaysia's Resi9 MP plastic modular enclosures (the older Mini Pragma name survives in some titles): 30 references, surface from 1×4 to 3×12 modules and flush from 1×4 to 3×18 modules, with white or translucent doors, IP40, IK07.

What the pages say
- Surface (MIP121xx–MIP12312): 1 row of 4, 6, 8, 12 or 18 modules, 2 rows of 12, or 3 rows of 12. The largest surface box is MIP12312, 36 modules (268 × 478 × 102mm).
- Flush (MIP221xx–MIP22318): the same sizes, plus MIP22318, 3 rows of 18 = 54 modules, rated up to 90A. MIP20212 is a 2 × 12 flush box with no terminal blocks.
- All: technoplastic, white RAL 9003, IP40, IK07, 35mm DIN rail, rated current up to 50A (4-module boxes), 63A (most) or 90A (MIP22318). Glow-wire 650°C for the surface boxes, MIP20212 and MIP22318, 750°C for the other flush boxes. Standards: IEC 60439-1 and -3 and IEC 60670-1 and -24 (MIP22318: IEC 61439-1 and -24, IEC 60670-1 and -24).
- T suffix = translucent door; no suffix = plain white door.
The terminal blocks grow with the box: 4 outgoing terminals each for earth and neutral on the 4- and 6-module boxes, 8 on the 8- and 12-module, 16 on 18- and 24-module, 20 on the 36-module boxes, and on MIP22318 30 earth terminals and two neutral sets of 16. Most boxes have one neutral block, so a board with two or more RCCB groups needs extra neutral bars bought separately.
The surface limit
In the worked example on the DB box category page, a single-phase house with two RCCB groups, two water heaters and a dozen MCBs needs about 22–26 modules. The surface MIP12312 gives 36, which leaves some spare. If you need more than 36 modules on the surface, Schneider Malaysia’s other surface option is PrismaSeT XS, or a board from Hager or Maxguard.
Easy9 enclosures: product pages, no listing
Schneider Malaysia has product pages for 20 Easy9 plastic enclosures: EZ9E108, EZ9E112, EZ9E118, EZ9E212 and EZ9E312 (8 to 36 modules), each with a plain (P) or smoked transparent (S) door and in surface (…2S) or flush (…2F) versions. They’re IP40, IK07, class II, rated 63A (80A for the 36-module boxes), with two earth/neutral terminal blocks. Schneider Malaysia’s August 2021 price list included all 20.
But the Easy9 MP enclosures range page on se.com/my lists no products (checked 8 October 2026). A product page isn’t a current listing, so we haven’t put them in the table. If a seller offers an EZ9E code, it may be existing stock; check with the seller.
A Kuala Lumpur Shopee store, Zhan da electrical, sells “Schneider Easy9 Distribution Box” full sets with 14 to 39 ways and a 63A RCCB, from RM265 for 14 ways to RM708 for a “30 Way Metal” version; a Lazada store, ZD Electrical Supplies, lists the same 30-way title at RM800. Those titles don’t give an EZ9E code and none of Schneider Malaysia’s Easy9 enclosure pages is metal, so treat them as a seller’s assembled set and ask what box is inside.
Prices
Schneider Malaysia’s August 2021 price list (a dated list price before trade discounts, hosted by Malaysian seller Kuasa Jati) gives, in its index, MIP12118 (surface, 18 modules) at RM219.20, MIP12312 (surface, 36) at RM306.40 and MIP22312 (flush, 36) at RM409.90. The translucent-door versions of the larger boxes cost more: MIP12312T was RM491.20. The product pages of the same price list print slightly lower figures (MIP12118 RM212.80), so the index appears to carry revised prices.
On BigGo Malaysia on 8 October 2026 we found one Malaysian store listing a Resi9 MP box: Electrical solutions (Selangor, Shopee), MIP12118 at RM176.89. The other Resi9 MP listings came from overseas sellers. A listing shows what a seller advertises, not confirmed stock. Schneider’s Malaysian distributors, such as those on our Schneider distributors guide, can quote the codes.
Compared with other plastic boards
- Hager golf is also IP40 and IK07 (and is stated as class II), and also comes flush or surface, up to 72 modules in four rows; its transparent-door versions are now spare part (Hager golf).
- Maxguard MG consumer units are polystyrene, surface only, 8 to 54 ways, with a fire-retardant version (Maxguard DB enclosures).
