Achiever Lighting (Achiever Premier), Viva Home, Jalan Loke Yew: decorative-lighting showroom

Achiever Lighting is a decorative-lighting showroom on the second floor of Viva Home (Viva Mall), at 85 Jalan Loke Yew in Kuala Lumpur. Its sign reads “Achiever Premier”. The showroom belongs to Achiever Lighting Sdn Bhd, a company incorporated in 1996 and registered for trading in decorative lights and household appliances. The company’s website listed the showroom from 2012. Its office was in Kajang (website, 2025), not at the mall.

Google Maps has two listings for this showroom: “Achiever Lighting Sdn. Bhd.” and “Achiever The Lighting Avenue”. Both give the same phone number and opening hours, and their lot numbers overlap: one gives Lot 2-03, 2-03A and 2-05, the other Lot 2-02 and 2-03. The company’s own website described these lots as one showroom. They are one shop, not a showroom and a separate office.

Products and business
A decorative-lighting showroom signed 'Achiever Premier'. An undated photo posted by the business shows crystal chandeliers, pendant and table lamps behind the shop window. The company's website (archived 2025) listed ceiling fans, ceiling lights, crystal lights, indoor and outdoor lamps, spotlights, LED solar lights, LED surface ceiling lights, eyeball downlights and track lights, pendant lights, table and stand lamps, vintage lights and wall lamps. Reviewers (2023) mention lamp fittings, lights and fans, help choosing lights, and installation, including a light installed with a motor to make later maintenance easier. Nine of the ten photos on the main Google Maps listing appear to show the shop's finished jobs, mostly in homes: crystal and classic chandeliers, an LED ring pendant and rows of pendant lights (the dated ones were taken 2019–2021). Its newest Facebook post (17 February 2023) shows a crystal chandelier being installed in a mosque; a post two days earlier advertises hexagon LED ceiling grids for garages. The company is registered for trading in decorative lights and household appliances.
Brands
None of the brand dealer lists we hold names the company (Philips, Schneider, Hager, Maxguard and CHINT; also the KDK, MAVA, Milux, Otali and YETPlus store lists, checked October 2026). A Deka banner (EVO ceiling fan, RS water heater) stood beside the entrance in an undated photo posted by the business.
Company
Achiever Lighting Sdn. Bhd., company no. 401050-H (199601028698), incorporated on 6 September 1996; nature of business: trading in all types of decorative lights and household appliances (CreditScan). The company's website printed the number on its office page (archived December 2017).
Company office
Not at the showroom. The company's website gave its headquarters as Lot 1202-E, Jalan Sungai Chua, Taman Cahaya, 43000 Kajang (2009 and 2012; telephone and fax 03-8737 8408), and the same lot as its office, open Tuesday to Thursday 9am–5pm (March 2025). In 2017 it gave an office (marked 'Office Only') at No. 5-2 Jalan Cahaya Suria 1, Taman Cahaya Suria, Kajang, with fax 03-8741 6967. Whether the office is still there is unknown.
Other premises
The website's About page (text unchanged since August 2012) said the company started as a single shop in Kajang and had 8 branches in the Klang Valley, and announced the Achiever Premier showroom at Viva Home as its new flagship. In 2012 the contact page listed, besides Viva Home, outlets at LDP Furniture Mall (Petaling Jaya), Global Furniture Mall (Subang 2), Kampung Baru Subang, Seksyen 9 Shah Alam, Selayang, World Furniture Mall (Sungai Besi, as Gen Light Marketing) and Pusat Bandar Puchong. By 2025 it listed only Viva Home and a Shah Alam branch at No. 8, Jalan Tengku Ampuan Zabedah D9/D, Seksyen 9, 40100 Shah Alam (012-365 1120), which Google Maps marks as permanently closed (October 2026). A similarly named Kajang business, 'Achiever Electrical Lighting & Furniture Trading' (No. 6F, Jalan Sri Saga, Taman Sri Jaya; 03-8734 6686), is also marked permanently closed; we found nothing that ties it to the company.
Website
achieverlighting.com has lapsed: in August 2025 it showed a domain-parking page, in December 2025 an unrelated overseas renovation business's site, and in October 2026 an 'expired' notice. Don't rely on it; the Wayback Machine holds copies of the company's own pages from 2009 to June 2025. Its contact pages also named an online showroom, gallery.achieverlighting.com, on the same domain.
Facebook
facebook.com/achiever.lighting (Lighting shop; about 5,500 followers; 92% recommend from 15 reviews; gives 019-336 6231 and [email protected]; posts tagged 'at Viva Home'). Its newest post, dated 17 February 2023, shows a crystal chandelier being installed in a mosque.
Online
We found no online shop, and we didn't check Shopee or Lazada.

What it sells

This is a lighting shop, not an electrical supply counter. A photo posted by the business (undated, pictured above) shows crystal chandeliers, pendant lights and table lamps behind the shop window. In that photo, a Deka banner for a ceiling fan and a water heater stands beside the entrance.

The company’s website was archived in 2025. It listed these product groups:

  • ceiling fans
  • chandeliers and crystal lights
  • indoor lamps, and pendant, wall, table and stand lamps
  • ceiling and LED surface lights
  • spotlights, eyeball downlights and track lights
  • outdoor lamps and LED solar lights
  • vintage-style lights

None of the brand dealer lists we hold names the company. We checked Philips’, Schneider’s, Hager’s, Maxguard’s and CHINT’s lists, and the KDK, MAVA, Milux, Otali and YETPlus store lists, in October 2026.

Installation

The showroom also installs what it sells. Reviews from 2023 mention help choosing lights, and staff who recommended and installed the fittings. One reviewer had a light installed with a motor, so that it is easier to maintain later.

Nine of the ten photos on the main Google Maps listing appear to show the shop’s finished jobs, mostly in homes. The dated ones were taken between 2019 and 2021. They show:

  • crystal raindrop chandeliers in double-height living areas, one beside a staircase (pictured above)
  • classic and crystal chandeliers in living rooms, a condominium and a karaoke room
  • an LED ring pendant
  • rows of pendant lights over a dining table and a kitchen counter

Its newest Facebook post (17 February 2023) shows a crystal chandelier being installed in a mosque. A post two days earlier advertises hexagon LED ceiling grids for garages.

Is it still open?

Google Maps lists the showroom as operating (October 2026). However, the evidence that it still trades is old:

  • Its 13 Google reviews are all 5 stars, and the newest is from April 2023.
  • The newest post on its Facebook page is from February 2023.
  • Its website, achieverlighting.com, has lapsed. The domain has since carried a parking page and an unrelated overseas business, so don’t rely on it.

Call 019-336 6231 before making the trip. It is the number on both Google Maps listings, the Facebook page and the old website. In 2012 the website gave the showroom a landline, 03-2788 0797, which no current listing carries. Google Maps and the old website both give opening hours of 10am to 7pm daily. The Facebook page also gives an email address, [email protected].

The company’s other premises

The website’s About page, unchanged since 2012, said the company began as a single shop in Kajang and had eight branches in the Klang Valley. It announced this showroom as its new flagship.

In 2012 the website’s contact page listed seven other outlets:

  • LDP Furniture Mall, Petaling Jaya
  • Global Furniture Mall, Subang 2
  • Kampung Baru Subang
  • Seksyen 9, Shah Alam
  • Selayang
  • World Furniture Mall, Sungai Besi
  • Pusat Bandar Puchong

By 2025 the contact page listed only this showroom and a Shah Alam branch, at No. 8, Jalan Tengku Ampuan Zabedah D9/D, Seksyen 9 (012-365 1120). Google Maps now marks the Shah Alam listing as permanently closed.

A Kajang business with a similar name, “Achiever Electrical Lighting & Furniture Trading” in Taman Sri Jaya, is also marked permanently closed on Google Maps. We found nothing that ties it to the company.

The website gave the company’s headquarters as Lot 1202-E, Jalan Sungai Chua, Taman Cahaya, Kajang, in 2009 and 2012. In March 2025 it gave the same lot as the office, open Tuesday to Thursday. In 2017 it gave a different office address, in Taman Cahaya Suria, Kajang.

About 1.5 km north-west in Pudu, two decorative-lighting showrooms stand on Lorong Yap Hin, off Jalan Pasar: ILC Perfect Lighting and TVTHREE Lighting.
