Genuine Electric Sdn Bhd: Hager-listed electrical wholesaler in Taman Bukit Maluri, Kepong

Genuine Electric Sdn Bhd is an electrical wholesaler in the Taman Bukit Maluri industrial area of Kepong, in north-west Kuala Lumpur. It’s at No. 8, Lot 37642, Jalan 5/37A. The TEEAM trade directory, the Malaysian electrical and electronics trade association’s member list, gives this address with a KL phone line and describes the company as an electrical wholesaler.

Hager lists three Genuine Electric locations: this one in Kuala Lumpur, the Johor Jaya branch in Johor Bahru, and the Penang branch on Jalan New Ferry, Butterworth. Each is a separate shop at its own address with its own phone number. A fourth shop, Genuine Electric Klang on Lorong Gudang Nenas, carries the same company number on its lightbox; it isn’t on Hager’s list, but KDK lists it.

What it supplies

Hager. Hager Malaysia’s distributor map lists Genuine Electric at Jalan 5/37A, Kawasan Industri Taman Bukit Maluri. That puts this branch in Hager’s distribution network. It doesn’t mean every Hager reference is on the shelf. Our Hager brand page, Hager RCCB and Hager RCBO pages cover the parts most often bought for home boards.

We found no website or product catalogue for the KL branch. Its Google Maps listing links to the TEEAM record instead. Unlike the Johor Jaya branch, this one isn’t on Schneider Electric’s distributor locator, so don’t assume the two branches carry the same brands.

Contact and visiting

Call 03-6277 9698. The fax is 03-6277 6698 and the email [email protected], both from the TEEAM record. Google Maps lists it as open Monday to Friday, 8:30am–6pm, closed at weekends.

Hager’s map puts the pin about 0.8 km north of where Google Maps places the business. The map above uses the Google Maps location, which matches the street address. Phone ahead with your part references.
