ABB F200 RCCBs in Malaysia: F202 and F204 codes, the 10mA F202 for water heaters, Type A, and prices
ABB’s residual current circuit breakers in Malaysia are the F200 series: the 2-pole F202 and 4-pole F204, plus an FH202/FH204 line. Malaysian electricians put ABB in the premium tier with Schneider and Hager, and one commenter described ABB and Hager as the more durable choice (“ABB / Hager lagi tahan”). An RCCB trips on earth leakage only, so it always needs MCBs alongside it.
ABB’s product pages are a single global catalogue, not a Malaysian list, and ABB Malaysia’s own site returned an error every time we tried it on 8 and 9 October 2026. The table lists the plain Type AC and Type A F200 and FH200 codes in the catalogue of KVC, a Malaysian distributor, as of 8 October 2026: 72 designations.
ABB F200 and FH200 RCCBs (Malaysia)

Reading the designation
ABB’s designation spells the rating out. Take F202 AC-25/0.01:
- F202: F200 series, 2-pole (F204 is 4-pole; FH202/FH204 is the FH200 line)
- AC: Type AC (A means Type A)
- 25: 25A
- 0.01: 0.01A, which is 10mA (0.03 is 30mA, 0.1 is 100mA, 0.3 is 300mA)
The ABB order code, such as 2CSF202001R0250, is in the table too. Some KVC titles give the wrong rating in words, for example “F204 A-63/0.03 … 300MA” for a 30mA device, so we’ve gone by ABB’s designation.
The 10mA options
There are three 10mA codes at KVC, all 2-pole:
- F202 AC-16/0.01: 16A, Type AC
- F202 AC-25/0.01: 25A, Type AC
- F202 A-16/0.01: 16A, Type A
With an MCB of 25A or less, the F202 AC-25/0.01 covers water heaters up to about 4.46kW under the Energy Commission’s table. The 16A models cover heaters up to about 2.86kW. There’s no 10mA F200 above 25A at KVC, and the only Type A 10mA is 16A. The water heater guide explains the rules.
Type A and the rest
The Type A codes at KVC are F202 A-25/0.03, A-63/0.03, A-40/0.1, A-25/0.3, A-40/0.3 and A-63/0.3, and F204 A-40/0.03, A-63/0.03, A-100/0.03, A-125/0.03, A-40/0.1, A-63/0.1, A-40/0.3 and A-100/0.3. In Type AC, the 2-pole F202 runs from 25A to 100A at 30, 100 and 300mA (plus an 80A 500mA), and the 4-pole F204 from 25A to 125A at the same sensitivities, with 500mA at 80–125A. The FH202 and FH204 come in 25, 40 and 63A at 30, 100 and 300mA, Type AC only. KVC also lists high-immunity “AP-R”, time-delayed “S”, Type B and 110V versions. Those aren’t in the table.
We didn’t read a Malaysian datasheet for this page, so it doesn’t state the standard part (whether the device is voltage-independent) or the conditional short-circuit rating.
JKR approval
ABB’s approved RCCB models on JKR’s eMAL list are F202 and F204 (and FH202 and FH204) in Type AC at 40A and 63A, 30mA and 100mA. The supplier is ABB Malaysia Sdn Bhd and the country of manufacture is Italy. That’s where the “made in Italy” in some Malaysian listings comes from, but it’s recorded for the approved models only. eMAL approval is for government projects; a house needs the ST-SIRIM label on the unit.
Prices in Malaysia
As of 8 October 2026, from marketplace store listings found through BigGo Malaysia. A listing shows what a seller advertises, not stock.

Focus Electrical Malaysia’s online shop (the Kuantan-based company whose Chukai branch we’ve profiled) prices several codes and shows a stock count, which is still the seller’s own claim: F204 AC-100/0.3 RM295.20, F204 AC-100/0.03 RM473.40, FH204 AC-25/0.03 RM242.50, FH204 AC-40/0.3 RM119.20, FH204 AC-63/0.3 RM145.30, FH202 AC-63/0.1 RM96.70 and FH202 AC-63/0.3 RM154.50. The same company listed the F204 AC-100/0.3 at RM360.27 on Lazada.
Other marketplace listings: F202 AC-100/0.3 RM269.61 (ETEC Store, Selangor); F204 AC-100/0.3 RM348.48 (ABB Flagship Store, Selangor); F204 A-40/0.03 RM450 (BPS Control, Selangor). These stores showed no location on BigGo: F202 AC-40/0.03 RM175.45 and Type A F202 A-40/0.03 RM516.89 (liankokelectrical), F202 A-40/0.03 RM608.09 (evoption, “for EV charger”), and F204 AC-100/0.3 RM278–285 (ESmart Metering, KWH Meter Online).
Against other brands at 2-pole 25A 10mA Type AC: ABB’s F202 AC-25/0.01 at RM149–220 compares with Himel’s HDB6VR225LC at RM50–62.55, Maxguard’s E25201N at RM91.40 (ene2u, 6 October), and Hager’s CC225B at RM215–253.65 (6 October). The devices aren’t identical, and we haven’t compared their datasheets.

Order by the full designation: “ABB ELCB 25A” could be 10, 30, 100 or 300mA and AC or A. The RCCB category page compares the F200 with the Himel, Maxguard, Schneider and Hager ranges, and ABB’s RCBO page covers its single-device option.
