The company describes itself as supplying electrical and electronic goods and lighting to contractors, factories, developers, wiremen and households, with project and bulk orders, delivery and a contractor programme. Brands
Listed by the brand: KDK's dealer locator lists 'Focus Electrical Sdn Bhd' at this address (Selangor; no Locavine brand page). Philips' where-to-buy list has a row at this address with the branch's 03-6188 9317 line under the name Focus Lighting Centre Sdn Bhd, a separately registered company (see Company group); Philips also lists Focus Electrical Malaysia's Kuantan head office. Signboards: Hager, Selamat Shop and Panasonic (2017), KDK (2024 Street View); an undated contributor photo of a one-unit frontage, probably earlier, shows an MK by Honeywell sign. Online shop (company-wide): ABB and Hager MCBs, ABB RCBOs, Maxguard RCCBs and DB boxes, Mega Kabel, Cable Link and Tonn PVC cable, Davis, Tham Chee and PVC Link boxes. Maxguard's dealer list names only the company's Chukai branch. The company's 2017 website called it an 'authorized distributor' of more than 60 brands (its own claim).

What it supplies

In 2017 (pictured above) the upper signboard over the left unit read “Pembekal Barangan Elektrik” (electrical goods supplier) and listed wiring accessories, distribution boards, automation and protection devices beside a Hager panel. A sign over the right unit, for electrical goods and lamps, carried the Selamat Shop brand, and Panasonic panels flanked the ground-floor fascia. In Google Street View from May 2024 the upper sign on the left unit is gone, and a KDK “Fans For Life!” panel has replaced the left-hand Panasonic one. The right-hand unit is out of frame.

Listed by the brand: KDK’s dealer locator lists “Focus Electrical Sdn Bhd” at this address, with 03-6188 9317 and fax 03-6188 7317. The listing supports a relationship with KDK, not stock of every KDK product.

Philips’ where-to-buy list also has a row at this address with the same 03-6188 9317 line, but under the name Focus Lighting Centre Sdn Bhd. That is a separately registered lighting and home-appliance company in Kuantan with the same registered line of business as Focus Electrical. A group tie is likely but unconfirmed, and the shop’s signboards don’t use that name. Philips separately lists Focus Electrical Malaysia’s Kuantan head office.

The company’s online shop at focuselectrical.com.my lists prices for the whole company. It doesn’t show what this branch has on its shelves. On 20 October 2026 it listed:

  • ABB MCBs, for example the SH201L-C16 at RM8.80, and an ABB RCBO (GSH201-C25) at RM134.40.
  • Hager MCBs such as the MY310 (3-pole, 4.5kA).
  • Maxguard RCCBs under “ELCB”, for example 63A 2-pole 30mA at RM74.00. Maxguard’s dealer list names only the company’s Chukai branch.
  • PVC cable from Mega Kabel, Cable Link and Tonn. Cable Link 2.5mm² was RM131.00 and a 100 m coil of Mega 2.5mm² PVC cable RM192.00.
  • MCB boxes from Tham Chee (6-way RM10.50) and PVC Link, and metal DB boxes from Davis and Maxguard.

The shop also lists conduit, trunking and cable tray, contactors, capacitors, lighting, fans and tools. In 2017 the company’s website called it an “authorized distributor” of more than 60 brands, Panasonic, Schneider, Hager and ABB among them. That was its own claim.

How to buy

Call 03-6188 5317 (Google Maps, website and Facebook page) or 03-6188 9317. The branch’s Facebook page, “Focus Electrical Malaysia KL Batu Caves”, has a WhatsApp button for 012-663 7795. A pinned post adds WhatsApp links to two more salespeople, 012-309 3412 and 018-204 0860. The company email is [email protected]. The branch also has a TikTok account, @focuselectricalklb.caves.

The online shop offers free shipping on orders over RM200, and the company says it handles project and bulk orders. A price-comparison search on 8 October 2026 also found the company selling Cable Link cable on Shopee and Lazada; we didn’t open those shops.

Visiting

Google Maps gives Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:35pm and Saturday 8:30am–1:30pm, closed on Sunday. The company’s website in 2017 gave nearly the same hours (weekdays to 5:30pm) and said the branch closes on public holidays. The listing shows 4.7 from 54 reviews (20 October 2026). Four of them, all 5-star, were posted within about an hour on 20 December 2022.

Two 2017 customer photos on the Google Maps listing show a different building: a single-bay Focus Electrical warehouse with a Kuala Lumpur City Hall signboard licence. Go to the shoplot at Jalan SBC 9, not the warehouse in those photos.
